Rules and Policies
Welcome to the Mayagüez Resort & Casino. It is our pleasure to have you as our guest. For your convenience, we have listed information which will facilitate your stay.


Visitors
The facilities of our hotel are for the exclusive use of the registered hotel guests. Therefore, visits from family members or friends are not accepted.

Vehicules

  • Speed limit is 5MPH.
  • Self-Parking - $4.50per night+ tax (Registered Guest Only)
  • Valet Parking-$10.00per night + tax (Registered Guest Only)
  • Automobiles should be parked in the spaces provided and according marked areas in the parking lots. They should not be parked blocking others cars or obstructing traffic.

Cancellation of Reservations and No-Shows

  • Cancellation - You must cancel the room(s) 24 hours prior to your specified
    arrival for non-groups reservations, or 72 hours prior to your specified
    arrival for group reservations. Cancelling after the stated period will
    result in a cancellation penalty fee of one night at the stated reservation
    rate plus tax.
  • No-Show - is considered as a guest failure on the cancellation process, and will
    result in a cancellation penalty fee of one night at the stated reservation
    rate plus tax.

Check-in and Check-out
Check In time begins at 3:00PM. Check Out time is at 12:00 Noon.
The following options are available:

  • Check Out at the Front Desk
  • Express Check Out – Should be requested upon check-in.
  • The room should be turned in at this time since it’s necessary to prepare the room for our next guests. Should the room not be empty at noon we will be forced to charge a late check out fee or an additional night’s stay.
    This charge will also apply if the keys are turned in but you return to the room. The electronic card key will cease to operate at 12:00 noon of your day of departure.

Guest ID Card
Upon registration you will be issued a Guest ID Card with your name, room number and signature on it. This is the official document that will identify you as a guest. For your protection we will ask for your Guest ID Card for approval of Room Charge at our facilities. During your stay an additional identification in the form of a wristband with the logo of the hotel will be provided.

Pool Towels
Are available at the pool area. The pool towels are limited to one per guest, per day. At the end of usage, please return it back to the pool attendant at the Olympic pool (upper deck). For unreturned towel there will be a charge of $25.00.

Miscellaneous

  • For your comfort and all of our guests the following items are not allowed on the facilities, in the guest rooms and other public areas of the hotel: coolers, radios without earphones, skateboards, roller blades, Grills, BBQ’s, electric stoves, scooters, bicycles and floaters.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Ice from the ice machines are exclusively to be used with the in room ice bucket – not for outside coolers.
  • Only special floaters will be allowed for children under the age of 12 years.
  • We do not allow the consumption of Food and Beverage items brought from outside the hotel in our facilities.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult when using the swimming pools. Please observe the swimming pools rules and regulations.
  • El Castillo Restaurant is open on a daily basis and serves all three meals.
  • The Chef’s Table Restaurant at the Escoffier Room is open from Wednesday through Sunday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Reservation is suggested.
  • Elegant/Casual attire required at the El Castillo and The Chef’s Table Restaurants.

We want to ensure that all our guests receive the best possible service, therefore, please remember that no visitors (non-registered guests) will be allowed beyond the Lobby Area.
